Fall 2010 Lineup

It feels so good to close a lineup, but I know I cheated a bit because I took on an old lineup. These are all the anime of Fall 2010 I reviewed, and it’s a pretty short list. I think there are eighteen anime in it, and it’s a small number compared to current lineups. Spring 2014, the last lineup I tackled, had 33 anime it so I really played it safe with this lineup. Still, it feels good to accomplish a short term goal and get a good pace in watching/reviewing anime. Hopefully I can keep this pace going as I try and go back to the current lineups. It’ll hurt though, but I’ll see if my body can take it.

It’s been a very productive year for me, both as TPAB and the normal guy behind him. I’ve gone very far in both my professions: a teacher and an anime writer, and I hope I can keep going forward from here on out. I take it one step at a time, and it does give me good results if I just keep on doing what I’m doing. As we head into 2016, I do want to thank all my readers for the great support. I know I’m not as active as I used to, but you guys still clicked on the reviews I do churn out. Thank you very much. This 1000 anime journey of mine has been a rough one so far, but I am still enjoying it. I can see 500 reviews in the small horizon, so I just gotta keep on trudging.

As always, the shows are grouped by score for easier consumption. For a quick explanation: 9s are highly recommended ones that are entertaining through and through. 8s are solid shows that I’d recommend, because the viewing experience is something I find enjoyable. 7s are good shows, but there are some faults that affects the overall product. 6s are decent shows with great positive aspects but also noticeable negative ones. 5s are boring but still good enough to be entertaining if you’re patient enough. 4s are bad shows, but a special niche audience can still find it doable. 3s are boring and bad. 2s are something I consider an abomination. There you go, I hope you all enjoy.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt GIFs: THAT Transformation Scene

I decided to review my very first fifty episode anime and it is pretty painful consuming so much with the kind of stress I’m under. For now, I’ll just put up a GIF post so I can finish that fifty episode anime. I’m at the halfway mark and I could’ve finished it this week if I didn’t have a job and other life obligations.

I promised to make a GIF of that jaw dropping transformation scene in PaSwG though, so here you go. This is probably the reason why I was heavily interested in this anime. The angelic faces with the stunning animation made me drool. There’s also the fan service but the animation completely caught me off guard. It was a big statement that Gainax is doing a Powerpuff Girl riff and not just releasing an under budget show. What better way than a sexed up transformation scene. Those inviting looks, damn. I want to apprentice to whoever made this sequence.

This is review number three hundred and twenty one. This anime is part of the Fall 2010 Lineup. This anime is also part of my review poll. I’m keeping it open in case people want to vote their favorite shows to death. The anime is the highest voted one. It’s called Panty and Stockings with Garterbelt. It’s a thirteen episode anime about girls taking off their undergarments and shooting people with it. There are also a lot of stupid things here like sperm ghosts and other stuff like that.
