Baby Steps Review

This is review number 300.

I’ve reached 30% of my goal and it took a really long time. Thankfully, I am still inching into my 1000 goal. I mean, seriously, three hundred anime reviews is a triumph for me. My life got really hectic and balancing my work with anything else is pretty hard to do. I think I have come up with a good way to balance them now though after sixteen failed attempts. Heh, this’ll be my seventeenth if this plan fails as well. It’s hard to do something you must and something you love together unless the thing you must and love are the same. Sadly, my work is not about anime. I hope it is and maybe someday I’ll have an anime related job but for now, just having a stable life is OK. At least The Pantless Anime Blogger is looking pretty good. I already have big plans for this site and I am working on them as we speak. Trust me, other sites will copy this idea as well just like they did with my review poll. That’s right. I said it.

Anyways, the anime I’ll be reviewing is called Baby Steps. It’s a twenty five episode anime about a guy who becomes in love with tennis and he had the skills to become a pro after just two short years of playing the sports. It’s a pretty interesting anime but I do have my complaints. I also have a lot of things I particularly like so this is a decent anime. Let’s read on.

Break Blade (TV) Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety nine. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. The year is about to come to an end and I am still stuck in this lineup. At least I am about to cross the big three so that’s something to celebrate. Just one more until thirty percent. So anyways, this anime is called Break Blade or Broken Blade. The English title seems to have an alternate English title. It’s weird. It’s a twelve episode mecha anime about two countries fighting because they hate each other. It follows your typical pussy b*tch hero but also some sweet robot battles you just want to slather in gravy. I’m hungry. Anyways, this anime is awesome. It’s a redo but it’s still awesome. Let’s read on.

Akuma no Riddle Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety eight. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. I’m ending the year watching only two lineups. Isn’t that miserable? I am actually glad I fell out of the seasonal cycle so I don’t have any more pressure on myself to churn out reviews. I’ll take my sweet time even if my viewership dies down. Anyways, I’ll be reviewing Akuma no Riddle. It’s a twelve episode anime about a bunch of girls taking way too many baths and also trying to kill one of their classmates. This is a decent anime but I really had a hard time finishing it. The main reason is because the whole thing sucks but that’s just me. Let’s read on.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety seven. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. The show I’ll be reviewing is called Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. It’s a twenty four episode anime about Jojo and his journey to beat up as many people in Asia as possible. It’s a second season of an anime I really enjoyed. Is the second season as good as the epicly awesome first season? Let’s read on.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety six. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. The anime I’ll be reviewing is called Brynhildr in the Darkness or Gokukoku no Brynhildr. It’s a thirteen episode anime about a bunch of super powered girls killing each other or something like that. The girls also grope each other’s breasts and form a harem to service our main character. That sounds like a fun time, right? Let’s read on.

Haikyuu!! Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety five. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. The anime I’ll be reviewing is the second most voted anime on my review poll. It’s Haikyuu!! It’s a twenty five episode anime about the sports of volleyball with Kuroko teaching the main character how to do a misdirection. Hahaha. I just made a joke about how this anime is like Kuroko no Basket. *sigh* This review is abnormally long though so let’s just read on.

Knights of Sidonia Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety four. This is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. The show I’ll be reviewing is called Knights of Sidonia. It’s a twelve episode show of robots and aliens in space. My review is pretty damn long so let’s just read on. I’m tired already.

Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety three. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. I’m slowly picking up my usual pace as I seem to have rekindled my enthusiasm for anime. Watching a strong 8 out of 10 show twice can get your mind pumping. Hopefully, I can get back to the updated seasonal lineups. That’s a big goal for now though since I still have a lot on my plate. Anyways, this show is called Soredome Sekai wa Utsukushii. It’s a twelve episode anime about a young angsty kid that wants to bang his mom or something stupid like that. Nah, I kid. This is actually a decent romance which is why this rather negative review is pretty hard to write.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety two. This anime is part of the Spring 2014 lineup. It’s a show called Boku wa Minna Kawaisou. With all my years reading fansubs, I think it translates to “We are all pitiful” but the show is officially called “The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior”. I guess my translating sucks. Good thing I just review these shows. Anyways, this is a twelve episode anime about a story that reminded me of some old shows I used to love when I was a kid. It also has a masochist and a girl with big breast in it. Yeah, sounds like a fun time. Let’s read on.

Ping Pong The Animation Review

This is review number two hundred and ninety one. Holy sh*t. Is this real? I’m close to three hundred? Anyways, this is part of the Spring 2014 lineup in the noitaminA block. It’s called Ping Pong The Animation. It’s an eleven episode anime about a bunch of people training for the prelims of a ping pong match. Of course, it goes deeper than that. So much deeper than that and I think that’s one of the reasons to love this anime. Let’s read on.
