Mind Game Review

This is review number one hundred and fifty. It took me days to track down this movie but I wanted to try something from studio 4°C. They’re pretty unique in their style of animation that I wanted to try my hand at reviewing some of their pieces. The movie I’ll be reviewing is Mind Game. It’s a 2004 anime about that acid trip you had last summer. Yeah, that doesn’t make sense.

On the flip side, I’m close to two hundred reviews. I just need a little more push and maybe get to the big double zero before I enter my first year as TPAB. Anyways, this movie is unique and well, a bit weird for weird sake. Let’s read on.

Honto ni Atta! Reibai Sensei Review

This is review one hundred and forty nine. By the anime gods, I am close to two hundred reviews. That feels pretty awesome. The anime I’ll be reviewing is a short one. It’s a five minute anime called “Honto ni Atta! Reibai Sensei” or Really Existed! Spirit Medium Teacher. It’s a twenty two episode comedy anime about a teacher who has ties with the occult. It has really bad animation though. Let’s read on.

Ao no Exorcist Review

This is review number one hundred and forty eight. It’s part of the Spring 2011 lineup. It’s Ao no Exorcist and it’s a twenty five episode anime about a kid who is actually the demon. It’s a really nice anime and I’m pretty impressed at the Spring 2011 lineup so far. There is a lot of awesome anime in this line up. I’m really amazed.

Anyways, Ao no Exorcist. It’s a Shounen anime and it’s awesome. Let’s read on.

Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera Review

This is review number one hundred and forty seven. It’s another anime from the Spring 2011 lineup. This anime really challenged me but I did enjoy the experience. The anime is Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera or Ghastly Prince Enma Burning Up. It’s a comedy anime but it’s also an old manga made by the father of mecha anime, Go Nagai. It’s a twelve episode anime about, well, um…stuff. I guess. Let’s read on.

Health and Physical Education for 30-Year-Olds Review

This is review number one hundred and forty four. The Winter 2013 lineup is about halfway through so I’m still in the Spring 2011 lineup. I’m doing my best to close this lineup but it has a lot of twenty four episode anime that really challenges me. I often lose energy when I watch that much anime in a day or two. Twelve episodes hit the spot for me.

Anyways, I’ll be reviewing “30-sai no Hoken Taiiku” or Health and Physical Education for 30-Year-Olds. It’s a mature themed anime about the thirty year old virgin getting guidance so he can pop the cherry. It’s pretty fun. Let’s read on.
